What to Wear to a Polo Match

Last Saturday, I had the opportunity to attend the BMW Victory Cup Fall Polo Classic on Governor’s Island in New York City.  It was a beautiful day, but quite warm — over 90 degrees!  I think we set a record temperature here in New York in September.  We were actually concerned it was going to rain, but the forecast thankfully turned around later in the week.  The warm day actually reminded my friend Amanda and I of the first polo match we ever attended (Bridgehampton Polo in July 2011), where we ended up on national television in an edition of…

Lilly by the Seashore

I took these photos at the Jersey Shore a few weekends ago.  While weather this past week had me reaching for my new quilted jacket, the weather has definitely become warmer again.  The spring and the fall are the perfect times to enjoy my Lilly Elsa top collection, which has gotten fuller thanks to the After Party Sale.  I love the “dive in” print of this Elsa top — it looks like fireworks, which is totally apropos for a summer holiday weekend! Labor Day Style

Happy Labor Day Weekend!  I hope you’re all soaking in the last bits of summer — I know I am!  I’m currently enjoying a five day weekend through Tuesday, and I’m about to head to the pool.  The last couple of days were rainy, but the sun is finally out for its official last dance of the season 🌞 I’ll keep this post rather short and sweet, so I can claim my rightful pool chair, but I wanted to share this nautical ensemble before I go. Off The Shoulder Sweater

Back at it with a long overdue outfit from my vacation a few weeks ago. I’ve been meaning to post this outfit earlier, but ya know… #surgerylife!
