Happy Easter and Happy Passover!  I can’t believe it’s been almost two months since I’ve posted last.  Phewww… girrrl, I’ve been so busy!  You may have seen some of my pictures on Instagram highlighting my Florida trip.  The hospital sent me to a surgical conference in Marco Island, Florida a few weeks ago, and it was a wonderful chance to get away.  The course was held at the JW Marriott, and I can’t recommend the resort enough.  The conference was informative, and sessions broke out in time for lunch, so I was able to soak up some beautiful sunshine every…

Red Lace Pants

I found these red lace pants while perusing the sale section, and they were only $36 (!!).  I think they’re so festive and perfect to wear from the holidays through Valentine’s Day.  Since Valentine’s Day is on a Wednesday this year, finding an outfit that transitions from office to night is key.  This outfit gives a pop of red, but it’s a nice variation from the cliché red dress. Faux Fur and Leather

While the weather outside is frightful, winter style is all about having fun.  My mantra: more is more!  I love mixing textures and layering on the fun.  This outfit combines faux fur, leather, and feather booties.  The minute I saw these booties, I knew I had to own them.  They are so, so fun!  I envisioned styling them with sleek black leather pants, and I upped the ante with this faux fur vest. Plaid Toggle Coat

Brrrrr… baby, it’s cold outside!  I last styled this plaid toggle coat on the blog last year.  I love it so much!  It’s actually surprisingly warm in these sub zero temperatures.  These boots have been my best investment of the season, and I snagged them for less than $100 on promo during Christmas. Red Beret & Stewart Plaid

The Christmas countdown is on! T minus 9 days!  What better way to prep for the holiday than donning your favorite plaid look.  Stewart plaid is one of my favorite Christmas plaids.  Aside from tartan, stewart plaid is one of the most festive prints of the season.  I paired this look with bright red Hunter boots and a red beret.  I wore a similar look {almost down to the exact same day last year} and also wore this shirt in a fall look last October.
