Current Beauty Favorites

I’m finally getting around to sharing my current beauty favorites.  There are so many great products out there, so I’ve included some of my OG favorites and also my newer loves.  I’m breaking down every category, so keep reading!

To begin, I love these monogrammed beauty train cases.  They make traveling easy peasy because so many products effortlessly fit in this bag. They’re sturdy, easy to pack, and wipe clean with a baby wipe. I use one case to pack my makeup and the other for tiny toiletries, such as a travel brush, mini shampoo/conditioner, and all of my personal care items.  This helps me stay super organized on my trip.  This model allows you to select your full monogram in a customizable colorway, and if you’re less into monograms, this plain option is a great basic.  Another beauty hack: keep these train cases stocked with your essentials to make packing a breeze — simply restock and go!

I would be remiss to not include this fold-up, lightweight travel mirror with multiple light settings in my travel favorites.  Bathroom lighting is notoriously poor, so I love that I can set this mirror up on the room desk to do my makeup.  This hairbrush is pricey, but I never leave home without it in my carry-on or purse.

In terms of brushes, this bronzer brush is insanely good for cream products (I bought two).  I also equally love this cream blush brush and this $4 one!  This foundation brush is a must.  It seamlessly applies liquid foundation better than any other tool I’ve tried.  This contour brush is a great one, because it’s small with concentrated bristles.  Finally, these silicone travel brush holders are SO good.  Perfect to protect your brushes and maintain the cleanliness of your bag.  This brush cup is also great.  I usually travel with both.  These velour powder puffs are an essential for baking under your eyes, and they’re less than $6.  They wash clean with a little soap and water.  These brushes are an exact dupe for the Morphe x Ariel ones.  Finally, this eye curler is the BEST one for round, deep set eyes.  I’ve tried all of the big name ones, but this one blows the others out of the water.

In terms of makeup, my favorite products are listed above.  This is the go-to primer from all of the celebrity makeup artists.  Two of my favorite foundations are this luminous one and this favorite of the stars.  I mix in this skin luminizer.  I love first going in with cream products, such as this bronzer stick and liquid blush, and then apply powder bronzer and blush. This drugstore shimmer blush is SO universally flattering, and I find myself reach for it frequently.  My go-to mascaras for everyday and evening.  This concealer is so creamy and perfect for hiding dark circles.  This highligher is gorgeous, but a bit splurge worthy.  You can’t go wrong with any of this brand’s products.

In terms of undereye setting powders it’s a toss-up between this one in rose and this one in cherry blossom.  Pink powders are the ultimate undereye setting color.  If you’re in the market for a universal eye palette, I like this one.  The cream shades are perfect base shades.  I also love any of these shimmer toppers from this brand: rose gold and star gold are my favorite shades.  Lastly, this lip pencil in shade Johnny is a beautiful pinky nude.  I adore this lip suede in shade Miss Mauve and this plumping gloss in shade Dolly has been my OG for years.

This is a great cleansing balm for removing even waterproof makeup.  I always do a double cleanse, which involves first using a cleansing balm or micellar water, rinsing my face, then using a face wash like this purifying one and this gentle organic one which are high on my list.  My favorite drugstore shampoo/conditioner for blondes is this one.  It smells so good, and I’ve been using it for years to keep my blonde fresh.  I’m always rotating my perfumes, but some of my favorites are tagged above.  My favorite skincare is this cream, this drugstore dupe for La Mer, and this face oil.

Hope this beauty breakdown was helpful!  Let me know if there are any other product categories you’d like for me to share.
