Happy Friday, friends! It’s hitting 100 degrees in New York this weekend, so what better way to toast to a truly warm weekend than sharing this nautical outfit from a few weekends ago. These photos were so fun to take because just as we got to the boatyard, the “magic hour” sunlight was hitting just right.
I couldn’t wait to wear these fun, colorful printed shorts this summer. The colors in the print are so saturated and just scream summer. I also love the tie-waist. I prefer to wear prints on the bottom away from my face, so I paired the shorts with this crepe ruffle neck top. I bought these trendy clear heels on a whim this spring, and they’ve easily become my favorite and most worn shoe this summer. They’ve even held up on a date when it unexpectedly started down pouring. The heel height is perfect (3 inches), and they’re sooo comfortable. They transform your legs into super model length! I love that they don’t break the bank either! I’m also eyeing this raffia version.
Crepe ruffle neck top (runs TTS, wearing size small) — I also bought the red // Ratti kaleidoscope tie-waist shorts (runs TTS, wearing size 4) also love the button down shirt and dress in this print // Beaded earrings (in black on super sale!) also like the new leopard print for fall // Lauren Merkin pink Louise clutch (old, my friend Amanda bought it for me at a sample sale) but I like this pink python embossed one // Gucci sunglasses // Clear heels (sized up a half size to 8.5) also available here and here — also love the rattan version (on sale!)
