Happy Friday, friends! Excited for this rainy week to be over. If you live on the east coast, then you probably know what I’m talking about. We’ve been experiencing almost an entire week of wet weather. Although my lawn and flowers probably beg to differ, I’m so looking forward to a weekend of sunshine! These photos were obviously taken last week at the shore, but just flipping through them makes me excited for the weekend ahead.
I’ve been eying this nautical boyfriend cardigan since I first laid eyes on it, but it finally went on sale (and it’s actually a little cheaper than when I bought it a couple of weeks ago). It’s cotton (yay for machine washable!), but a very nice heavy, rich cable knit. I can see myself wearing it on cool summer days from Memorial Day through Labor Day and even into fall. I love the nautical flags, anchors, and boat detailing. I swear it has my name written all over it! I paired it with my favorite frayed hem jeans and raffia slides that I’ve been enjoying all spring/summer long. These slides are also on major sale, and I think they’re my favorite shoe purchase of the summer! They match perfectly with any warm weather outfit, and they’re so comfortable! I wore these on my May trip to Vegas, and I was so comfortable walking around the city and airport.
