Red Beret & Stewart Plaid

The Christmas countdown is on! T minus 9 days!  What better way to prep for the holiday than donning your favorite plaid look.  Stewart plaid is one of my favorite Christmas plaids.  Aside from tartan, stewart plaid is one of the most festive prints of the season.  I paired this look with bright red Hunter boots and a red beret.  I wore a similar look {almost down to the exact same day last year} and also wore this shirt in a fall look last October. New Year’s Eve Style

The second I saw these festive pants, I knew they had New Year’s Eve written all over them!  I just can’t get over how perfect these pants are for a party when you don’t want to go with the cliché New Year’s Eve dress.  NYE in New York City is cold!  Try hailing a cab after the clock strikes midnight — absolutely impossible!  There are many years when this look could have saved me from basically freezing to death on a NYC street.  I once spent two hours walking around downtown Manhattan and begged a NYPD officer to drive me…

Rocking Around the Christmas Tree
