Trina Turk Activewear

One of my all time favorite designers is Trina Turk.  Her preppy Palm Springs inspired prints are lively, bold, and playful.  I tend to gravitate to her looks for special events in my life.  Like that time I wore one of her dresses to Bridgehampton Polo, and I was interviewed on The O’Reilly Factor with my Hamptons share house roomies — my 15 seconds of fame!  That clip will live in infamy! Toucan floral print shorts (on sale!) also available here  //  Theory silk Milka top (old) similar color and I like this style  //  Leather strappy sandals (different color)  //  Knotted rope earrings (on sale!)  //  Celine sunglasses in Havana (similar style here and here) I’m loving the tropical print trend for summer.  Floral, toucan, palm leaf — it’s all amazing.  The dilemma is that too much pattern drowns me out, so I chose wisely.  I matched these floral shorts with a solid red top and statement earrings to play up the print subtly.
