Happy last day of January! I don’t even know what we’re celebrating anymore. Maybe just getting through another month of pandemic life — haha. I am fresh out of another COVID re-deployment in the hospital, so I’m re-adjusting my sails. I’ve been seriously neglecting the fashion aspect of my blog lately, and I’m trying to get back to more regular content. The drab days of winter coupled with that weird in-between time between holiday and spring collections has left me less than inspired, but I’m happy to see little collections pop up here and there.
This cotton cashmere stripe sweater is a great spring and summer transitional piece. It’s perfectly preppy, and I think it would be great in the summer paired with Nantucket reds. I played up the red contrast in this sweater by pairing it with a red coat and the contrasting laces in my snow boots. I’ve owned these “cropped” jeans for over a year now, and there is a reason why they’re so popular. They’re a great relaxed denim for shorter ladies like myself. I’m 5’4″, and they hit at the ankle.
