Summer travel plans are really starting to pick up. I feel a little bit like Carmen Sandiego these past few months, between Vegas, L.A., and Miami trips. We’re all starting to come out of our shells a bit now that the vaccine rates are going up and COVID cases are going down. It feels nice to see friends again and do some fun things. Next on my agenda? A trip out East to Montauk at the end of July for a long weekend. It’s been two years since I’ve been out there, and I’m itching to go! Can’t wait for a good lobster roll at Lunch and a sunset cocktail at Surf Lodge.
Speaking of summer plans, we’re all starting to shop again now that we have places to go and people to see. I picked up this blue and white embroidered top before my Miami trip and it’s the perfect summer top. It’s flowy, but cinched, and very feminine. I paired it with my favorite pair of white skinny jeans — sorry, Gen Z, but I’m still all about a classic, straight legged pair of white denim — and a pair of cat-eye sunnies. It’s what I like to call an elevated beach look — just insert the sun & sand!
