It’s that time of year again 🌴💗 — the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale Summer 2020 is happening! The online After Party Sale will begin online only this year and run from tomorrow, Monday, September 14th at 8 AM EST and run through Tuesday, September 15th. Set your phone alarms, people! This sale is not to be missed! Lilly Pulitzer owned retail stores will NOT participate in the Lilly Online Sale.
While some products may sell out quickly, there will undoubtedly be tons to choose from throughout the entirety of the sale, even if you can’t log on until you get home from work that evening. There will be another drop — most likely restocks as well as new products — on the morning of Tuesday, September 15th. This is to ensure that more shoppers are able to find something they love for a steal. Remember that shoppers are also a bit less frantic on day 2 as well, so definitely log on Tuesday morning for the second drop. More often than not, products from the second drop stay in stock much longer!
The Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale gets CRAZY, so I’ll share the FAQ and tips I share every year:
As a refresher, this is the BEST sale of the season, and it only happens twice a year. The summer sale, by far, is the biggest in terms of inventory.
- Expect additional “product drops” on the second day of the sale. New styles will be added to the sale on Tuesday, September 15th around 9 a.m. EST
- As always, there will be a virtual line. If you have shopped the sale before, you know the drill. I keep refreshing the homepage 5 minutes before the sale starts, but I STOP once I get a spot in the line. Be prepared for a wait, or “online queue”, but that means your spot is secured and you will be redirected to the sale once your spot is ready. DO NOT hit refresh after you’ve received your spot number, or you will be kicked back to the end of the line! Even if you have a crazy high number, be patient and don’t refresh! The line moves quickly!
- Get ready before the sale by pre-registering an account on Lilly’s website. Make sure you have the correct shipping and billing addresses and credit card information on file. This includes up-to-date credit card expiration dates! This will help immensely with securing your cart once you hit checkout!
- The day before the sale, log into to your account and leave the window open. Then, set your alarm! Remember that the sale will start at 8 a.m. EST, so account for that if you’re elsewhere in the country like I am. The following morning, at sale time, simply hit “refresh”– over and over again. 😉 When you get in, you will receive a number. STOP clicking refresh at this point, or you’ll lose your spot in line.
- I recommend scanning the site now since some current styles may be discounted. This will also help you get familiar with styles and their sizing by reading the product reviews.
- Make an inventory of your current pieces in your closet now. Take note of style name, pattern, and most importantly, sizes! Jot these down on a notepad, so you can quickly refer to them once the sale starts. Per usual, the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale is not returnable. All sales are final!
- Be patient & prepared for frustrations! The volume of traffic is HUGE. There are a lot of Lilly Lovers out there! 😉🌴💗

- “What if I don’t get the stuff I wanted?” — the reality is you might not get everything you want, but there are other sites that will likely be price matching the sale. Check out Nordstrom, Saks, and Zappos for discounted merchandise, which you can likely return if the item doesn’t fit.
