Shopping for spring break outfit inspiration is so satisfying when you live in a cold climate. I love the bright colors. When I laid eyes on this embroidered tunic with hot pink details, I knew I that it would be perfect for my trip. I paired it with hot pink scalloped shorts. I love a long sleeve tunic — mostly because I’m notoriously cold all of the time. It turns out that Miami was warmer than I anticipated, but this outfit was ideal in the mornings. I paired it with my designer dupes — the $19 studded sandal and $10 heart sunglasses — that easily pass for their over $450 a piece older sisters. Who can forget these crochet dream catcher earrings that are only $30 right now?
I can’t believe that I was in Miami two weeks ago. I’m still craving the warm weather, sun, and ocean breezes. It was such a treat to have an oceanfront room with a balcony. Watching beautiful sunrises and sunsets and hearing the rush of the ocean felt good for the soul. I’m such a Taurus in that respect. Being an Earth sign, I love connecting to nature’s simple pleasures. It’s only fitting that I’ll be jet-setting off to another destination in exactly two weeks. I have a surgical conference to attend in Las Vegas, and I can’t wait for more warm weather! Miami, you were so good to me. I’m ready to come back now!
Embroidered tunic — runs TTS to slightly large, I still went with the size small // Scalloped shorts — this style runs a little small, went with a size 6 — I also like this cult-classic pair // Rockstud sandals — designer vs. dupes // Heart sunglasses — designer vs. dupes // Kayu fringe tote (sadly sold out), but I love these similar styles: here, here, and here // Natural crochet dream catcher earrings — only $30 from over $100
Hi Heather, I love this Lilly look you posted! Such a pretty combo and perfect for a breezy morning on the beach (after social distancing ends of course!) I just ordered both the top and shorts through your link and I’m excited to wear them while working from home this spring/summer. Thanks again for the style inspo!
