Cozy for the Holidays

My favorite recipe for a stylist winter outfit is a cozy, luxurious turtleneck.  My wallet doesn’t always agree, but luckily this sweater only feels luxe.  It’s quite affordable, especially considering how designer it feels.  The chunky, soft alpaca blend is equal parts cozy, stylish, and affordable.  I love that it hits at my waistline, and the sleeves can be cuffed or worn long.  I’m already eyeing it in charcoal gray.

I paired it with mom jeans and super affordable taupe ankle booties.  These booties are only $49 right now!  I bought them a few months ago, and I’ve worn them so much.  They’re comfortable and go with everything!  I found them to be TTS, so if you’re considering buying them, I’d go with your regular U.S. size.

The real breakout star of this outfit is this fabulous western hat from Tenth Street.  I’m truly in love with it!  It’s another piece that feels high end, but it won’t break the bank.  I paired it with turquoise earrings to pay homage to its western vibes.

Alpaca wool blend turtleneck — fit is TTS, wearing size small  //  High rise distressed mom jeans (light wash) — I size up one size in this brand’s denim, wearing size 28  //  J.Crew turquoise beaded earrings (old), but I love this similar pair  //  Ankle booties (only $49 right now!) — took my normal US size — also in stock here and here  //  Marne hat (c/o), also available here and here

On one last note, I hope your holiday was merry and bright!  I had a nice extended break off for Christmas, and I’m heading back to work tomorrow before I’m off for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.  Hoping the weather allows for some skiing!  It’s always my favorite way to head into the New Year.  This year feels extra special.  I can’t believe we’re heading into a new decade.  I have a feeling that it will be good!  With a few trips planned for the first part of 2020, one of my resolutions is to travel more and just enjoy wherever life takes me.
