Sssss…snake print is trending for this season, and I’m here for it! Some are even dubbing it the new leopard. An animal print that when styled correctly will quickly become a neutral in your closet just like tan, black, and grey. Whether you style yourself in a snake skin jacket, or stick to subtler print like bags or shoes, here are a few ways to wear the snake print trend in your fall wardrobe.
There are several approaches to welcoming snake print into your wardrobe. Luckily, I already have a few snake print pieces in my closet from years ago. I bought an awesome Catherine Malandrino genuine snake skin jacket from her outlet store in Woodbury Commons about 10 years ago. I wore it a couple of times — here is a picture of me from a friend’s house warming party in 2012 — but I held onto it because I knew the trend would be back. Needless to say, I can’t wait to break out this jacket with these new Pedro Garcia pumps I picked up on clearance this summer.
Snake print blouse — only $68! — recommend sizing down. I went with an XS // High rise white denim jeans (40% off with code LONGWEEKEND) — runs TTS, wearing a size 27 // Gucci cross-body bag (old), but I love this similar bag in rose gold // Pavé statement heart hoop earrings // Tom Ford sunglasses in dark brown
Wanting your snake print to do a bit of talking? Go for a blazer, a blouse, a skirt, or pants. This snake print blouse is a great focus piece. I love the beige color palette, and it’s a steal at $68! The cinched arm bands allow you to wear the blouse as long sleeve or 3/4 bracelet length. It’s sexy without being too sexy. I’m very impressed with the quality, and it can be styled multiple ways. I’m wearing it here with high rise white denim, but this top would also look great with leather jeans or a pencil skirt and boots.
Another fun option is to incorporate the print in your active wear. These 7/8 length leggings are perfect for a sweat session at the gym. Pair it with a simple white tank. They run TTS, and I took my normal size small.
Another way to wear the snake print trend is to accessorize with a handbag, belt, or shoes. These Pedro Garcia Macy sandals are from last season, but I snagged them on clearance in the spring. I snagged these boots during the Anniversary Sale, and they are a perfect option for fall. I recommend sizing up a half size, though. These clear pumps with a hint of print are also adorable and very much on trend.
