I’m so excited that this coat was brought back again this year, because it sold out so quickly last year! I’m a sucker for anything tweed, and it’s the perfect holiday coat to take you right up through December. The gold, red, and lighter green accents just make me so happy, bubbly, and excited for Christmas time — my favorite time of year! The fact that it’s 30% off right now is an absolute steal.
I’m sure it’ll be put to plenty of good use this season, because it’s already chilly in New York. We had an Indian summer well into the middle of October, and then — *snap* — it’s 40-50 degrees out everyday! I had to turn on the heat already and was debating starting up the fireplace. I have a feeling it’s going to be a rough winter. The Farmer’s Almanac is predicting a long, snowy 2019!
Speaking of winter, there are a ton of great deals right now on fleeces. While most of the colors are sold out, my favorite buffalo check fleece is marked down to $29 from $78! Sizing runs quite large, so definitely don’t size up. I scored these in three colors in a size small, with plenty of room to layer something underneath. I love throwing these over my loungewear, when I’m just hanging around the house. So cozy! This plush fleece excursion vest, which I styled back in 2015, is also making a return appearance at 40% off. You can even snag the matching plaid shirt!
Italian tweed coat (runs a little large to TTS, wearing size 4) — currently 30% off with code CHILL — I also love this solid hunter green one // Red turtleneck sweater, also love this sleeveless version // Frayed hem boyfriend jeans (runs large, sized down from my usual 27 to 26) — currently 30% off with code CHILL // Christian Louboutin pumps (sized up to my usual 1/2 size up in European designers) // Baublebar earrings (20% off with code NEW20) // Celine sunglasses
I am loving this combo the red and green is so perfect for Christmas. I ordered this coat in the yellow tweed so I am hoping it is just as lovely. I am thinking the green would have been so fantastic too now.
Thanks, Jane! The yellow looks great too! It’s a perfect color for fall. It would look great with brown, burgundy, etc.
