One of my favorite accessories during the colder months is a bold red coat. It simply elevates every borderline monotone outfit to another level. Also, I think it’s a color most of us can pull off. Red coats are bold, happy, and completely timeless. It’s a staple that will last you through the years. Red is also a great winter color that goes with everything and can be dressed up or down very easily.
Red coat (old, but I love this current version) // Striped bodysuit (runs small in chest, sized up) // Hermes Constance belt // Vineyard Vines tassel earrings – similar here and here // Skinny jeans (fit is TTS) // Navy Chanel quilted ballet flats — love these dupes for less and this luxe style // Sunnies
I love accessorizing with other red accessories, such as bags, gloves, and shoes. Generally, my rule is to stick to one “power accessory” and leave the rest of my ensemble rather neutral. I broke my rule with these fun, lightweight tassel earrings!
This striped shirt bodysuit is a staple that won’t break the bank! So many bodysuits are outrageously priced, but this one is definitely affordable. Fit is a little on the smaller side for bustier gals, so I recommend sizing up accordingly. I also want it in white!
By the way, I had a wonderful and safe trip to Las Vegas last week. I even ran into one of my sorority sisters that I hadn’t seen since her wedding in Dallas 8 years ago! You can see more of my pictures on Instagram. I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental, which I couldn’t recommend more highly for a low key and posh Vegas experience. I got so many compliments and questions on this black lace romper, which fits true to size.
P.S. for those of you asking for an update, these Ear Planes worked quite well! I purchased the children’s size and one pair will work for a roundtrip flight. They work best if you insert them prior to the cabin door closing and keep them in the entire flight.
