Spa Week is back for its bi-annual Spring Spa Week Event. From April 17-23, 2017, save hundreds of dollars on luxe spa treatments at locations across the country. Spa Week is the ultimate spa bargain with $50 treatments offered at participating spas in the U.S. From holistic salt therapy centers to detoxify the respiratory system to standing in a -160 degree Cryotherapy Chamber to reduce cellulite and improve circulation, these signature services – normally valued at anywhere from $100 to $500 – will be available for just $50 each!
How Do I Find Out Which Spas Are Participating?
Sign up at Spaweek.com to get early access to the listings. Bookings begin March 20th. Once you login, you can select your city or state to see a list of participating spas and the treatments they offer. Once you see a treatment you want, call the spa directly to make your reservation. The spa will ask for your credit card number to secure the reservation. Some spas also offer booking through the Spa Week website.
Where Does Spa Week Take Place?
Spa Week takes place nationwide, but you will find the biggest selection near large cities such as New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, and resort towns like Miami, Scottsdale, and Las Vegas. Even if you don’t live near a big city, there may still be spas participating in your region.
Can I Get Any Treatment I Want for $50 During Spa Week?
No. Each spa chooses two or three treatments to offer, not the whole menu. Treatments generally include massages, facials, spa manicure or pedicure, waxing, microdermabrasion, photo facials, and ultherapy.
How Do I Get The Best Deals Out Of Spa Week?
The very best Spa Week deals will be at resort spas or urban hotel spas, which may charge $150-$500 for a treatment and have amenities like steam room, sauna, even swimming pools. The reputable Red Door by Elizabeth Arden has locations across the country, and I have my eye on one of their premier facials, such as the Ultimate Arden Facial. Their luxurious microdermabrasion treatment is exactly what I need to head into spring!
What treatments would you recommend?
I personally indulge in a facial twice per year, and Spa Week perfectly coincides with my schedule (April and October). These are great months to have facials performed because your skin is getting ready for the next seasonal change. It’s also a great time to dip your toe into laser hair removal. I’ve personally completed about 10 laser hair removal treatments since they introduced the technology a few years ago. I’ve achieved amazing long lasting results along my underarms, bikini, and legs. For the less adventurous, you can’t go wrong with a relaxing massage!
Is there a limit to the Number of $50 Spa Treatments I Can Try During Spa Week?
No, you can try as many treatments as you want, however it’s not advised to have multiple facials done in one week. Your skin might not like you :) Instead, try treatments that complement each other, such as a facial and massage.
How Much Should I Tip During Spa Week?
Tip 15-20% on the full value of the service, not on the $50 you’re being charged. It’s the right thing to do, and you don’t want bad spa karma!
I’ll be partnering with Spa Week this spring to review a Red Door location just in time for Spa Week, so be sure to check back for a full review. What treatments do you have your eye on?
